This is the only place where the shopping area within the old city of Nicosia is united! Even though the shopping area has been physically divided by a mass of concrete, barbed wire and sandbags since 1963 due to complex disputes between the island’s two main ethnic groups, the Greek Cypriots and the Turkish Cypriots, e-Ledra offers the visitor uninterrupted strolling through its streets providing the visitor with information about the shops, their unique products offerings and promotions, restaurants, museums, churches, transportation, accommodation as well as how to cross from South to North and vice versa.
