Woolworth Department Stores changes its name to Ermes Department Stores. In a movement of renewal and after 30 years of life the Woolworth Department Stores are renamed to ERMES Department Stores no longer connecting their name to the International Woolworth shop chain.
The name change of the Department Stores does not deprive from the organisation the advantages acquired during their many years of operation, on the contrary it creates new prospects for even better results.
Turning nominally page, after a swift success that the Department Stores accomplished in the Cypriot market, the ERMES Department Stores maintain the quality, the confidence, the service and the friendly and comfortable environment. They will continue the work began by the Woolworth Department Stores keeping their values, which were the reason of their success, unaltered. In this way the ERMES Department Stores still remain your own
Department Stores. (Sept 2004)
